Housing For All

We are planning a socially mixed neighborhood in Frankfurt/Praunheim. For us, “apartments for all” means subsidized and affordable as well as privately financed rental and condominiums, offers for cooperatives and student and trainee housing. And of course young and old, families, couples and singles will find a new home here.

Social Neighborhood

Everything within 15 minutes

The name QUARTIER 15 says it all. It stands for a lifestyle where everything important is no more than 15 minutes away: everyday amenities, green spaces for recreation, and lively meeting places for social life – as well as the surrounding area and Frankfurt’s nearby city center, which will be reachable within 15 minutes thanks to excellent transport connections.

We are ready to start this major project quickly and look forward to working with Frankfurt’s political leaders and administration to create urgently needed new housing as soon as possible.

The Project

Climate-adapted and with co2-neutral
energy supply

Sustainability is not just about reusing former industrial sites. We will adapt Quartier 15 to climate change, for example through smart urban planning that enables fresh and cool air circulation, rainwater retention, green roofs and facades, and generous open spaces. The energy supply will be CO2-neutral, and construction will follow the cradle-to-cradle principle.

Sustainable from the ground up

Sustainability

Using old industrial sites instead of paving green spaces

With Quartier 15, we are not creating a monotonous large-scale development on a greenfield site. Instead, we want to carefully and sensitively expand Frankfurt’s established district of Praunheim. Above all, we will use old industrial land instead of sealing precious green spaces – specifically, previously used areas south of the future Regionaltangente West (RTW) station, as well as the sealed areas of the old brickyard.

Location

Excellently connected

The new neighborhood will stand out for its excellent transport links. In 2028, the RTW station Praunheim will open, and the extension of the subway from Ludwig-Landmann-Straße to Frankfurt city center is also being planned. Shared mobility options, mobility hubs, and a pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly design will ensure easy movement within the car-light neighborhood.

Implementation in two stages

We aim to realize QUARTIER 15 in close partnership and coordination with the City of Frankfurt and the local community. In the first stage, we intend to expand the edge of Praunheim in a harmonious way. South of the RTW line currently under construction, around 500 new apartments are planned alongside commercial uses. In the medium term, we plan to develop an additional 900 residential units and further uses on the site of the old brickworks to the north, while simultaneously expanding the Steinbach meadows for climate adaptation.

Planning

A project of the neuland® brand,
made by p+B group

Quartier 15 is a project under our NEULAND® brand. The innovative urban quarters of NEULAND® are not only ecological, social and digital – they are designed to be “great-grandchild-proof.” This means that the P+B Group always keeps future generations in mind, not just the people of today. We are currently developing the first NEULAND® quarter in Neuss, with around 500 apartments. NEULAND® NEUSS has already been recognized as a “KlimaQuartier.NRW” by the Ministry for Climate and Economy of North Rhine-Westphalia. The new district has also received the DGNB Platinum precertification – the highest award of the renowned German Sustainable Building Council.
